The Land of the Rising Sun
To offer its Champion a unique and unforgettable experience, the European Sushi Championship provides a 6-day immersion in Tsuruoka, Japan, alongside Chef Suda Takeshi.
The Champion also has the opportunity to work alongside Chef Suda in the kitchen, take part in several gastronomic events, and create his own menu, which he then prepares with a Japanese brigade before presenting it to guests.
Far more than a simple trip, this experience allows the winner to fully immerse himself in Japanese culture and gastronomy, while continuing to learn from renowned professionals.
An experience centered on transmission, sharing, and excellence, offered by the European Sushi Championship to its Champion.
THE WINNERS
In 2024, Piotr Kuc, winner of the European Sushi Championship in Monaco, flew to Japan to live this unique experience alongside Chef Suda Takeshi. In 2025, it was Cristina Sombray’s turn, champion in Porto, to follow the same path and discover Japanese gastronomy and culture. A wonderful tradition that continues, year after year, rewarding the excellence of the European Sushi Championship’s champions.
